Less than 10% of Black Ops sales were PC sales, and only maybe 30% of them were so dissapoited by it that they won't buy it again. Meaning that Activision will maybe miss out on 300.000 sales, but therefore win like 5 million more on the console side.1eShit wrote:I'm not sure, a lot of people were disappointed by Black Ops.
Probably some of them wait for some time or don't even buy it, due to that failure.
You guys always have to keep in mind that the PC is the smallest factor when it comes to game sales, and that the big publishers don't even need the PC anymore. They only still release games like Cod on PC because there is still a bit of profit left in the platform.
I kinda agree there. Black Ops wasn't bad, but it was impossible for it to live up to the expectations set by MW2. I'm not ready to evaluate MW3 though. For me there is still too little information.Ironhide wrote:Well actually BO was expected to fail, at least by me. MW3 will surely be better, but as I said, probably not as good as CoD4. Not even as 'good' as MW2 I guess.
