Same here :S

And yeah they should try to make something new with this story.

What im Trying to understand: The Ceph from Crysis one were never really defeated, Nomad and Psycho just excaped from the island (okay, they went back for Prophet, they never said, the destroyed the hive)

And in Crysis 2, Prophet told Alcatraz, that the Ceph are no Aliens, the come from earth and the just spleeped the last thound years. And that there are even more Hives all around the Planet.

And now (if i see that right), in Crysis 3, you just play in New York, under that big Nano-cathedral and it musst be more than a few month, if New York is just a bunch of Ruins. Whats with the other Ceph arround the world? Are they just sleeping?

I have the feeling, that Crytek is dissipateing with their own Story :D

Seems to be so, the fact that it is taking part in New York again is boring enough.

i think it coul be kinda fun to play in a postapocalyptic city. But why do we have to stay there the whole game?

A bit Call of Duty, lets say, about 3 different places, were the game brings you, that would be totaly good.

Visually phenomenal, but the gameplay was a tad underwhelming for me, didn't see too much that was new.

You are exactly the kind of person that should stop playing games.

Fanboy of anything that looks good in a trailer, whatever bs they finally release, you preordered it, EA (or any other publisher) sees the money and won't improve their work or change anything about their DRM, DLC crap and willl keep fucking up games with consoles, bad level design, copy/paste games (ever heard of "CoD" MW 1-20?) etc.

Gamers like you:
Sees trailer of game Crysis 3 -> gets fanboy -> preorders Crysis 3-> plays ->doesnt see how bad the game is due to being a fanboy -> preorders Crysis 4-250.

Gamers with brain:
Sees trailer of Crysis 3 -> sees it has the same setting, opponents (Cell and aliens), same opponent character design, same weapons (except that bow), same graphics, same animations as Crysis 2 -> thinks that 60€ for a game that should rather be a 10€ DLC or 15-20€ expansion pack is too much and won't buy before the price hits 20€
