new Keyboard
Hey Guys,
so atm, I'm using the Microsoft Sidewinder X6, and actually, its quite ok, but I thought about buying a new one. The first two Keyboards that catched my attention were the Razer Black Widow Ultimate and the Razer Marauder.
I decided not to wait for a probably new SCII Keyboard that comes with Heart of the Swarm, I don't want to wait this long.
The games I'm playing most are obviously Crysis 2 and Starcraft 2.
So does anyone of you have one of these two keyboards, and what can you tell me about them?
Are they worth the money?
Or do you have any other Keyboard suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Re: new Keyboard
I just wanted to try something new I guess. Mechanical Keyboard sounds quite interesting, I'd really love to test it ingame, but I don't want to spent 80€+ right away. And the Marauder's APM-light System and the other SCII-specialfunctions seem to be cool as well, but - like I said, I don't wnat to buy something new right now, without aksing for some.. testimonials.
I've already taken a look at the Logitech Keyboards, and they seemed to be pretty good, but basically, there isn't much difference between them and my current Keyboard.
I'm looking for something innovative, something special, something like nevertherebefore - you know what I mean?

Re: new Keyboard
I have the Razor Lycosa and I am very happy with it because the keys have a shorter way when you push them down and the reaction is very precise compared to the other keyboards I had before.
You can slide smooth and fast over it and and can react faster.
That`s just my personal impression.
I simply went to German Saturn market where they have a lot of keyboards to look at unpacked and I simply tried everyone by doing the WASD on them and the Lycosa had the best feeling.

I have the SteelSeries SHIFT and I'm very happy with it. Feels very nice and the quality is also very good plus you have programmable keys, even in three levels!

Hello to you, young player of Starcraft II, just man for information seen which I also play this game, no matter the keyboard for sc2 because you haven't right of macro, it is an offence to Blizzard and you will be banished! When to Crisis 2, A keyboard Logitech or Razer will widely do! Logitech g510 - g15 or razer Lycosa :D

Re: new Keyboard
I know about that, he's talking about more programmable advanced macros. They are banned in SC2 unless you have their official kb.

Re: new Keyboard
Official Keyboards from Blizzard? Never heard of them...
But, like I said, I don't need any Makros.
I just need good ingame-Macro :D
I tested Razer Marauder as well as Black Widow at Gamescom, and Marauder seems to be pretty nice =)
Just needed a bit to get used to it, but all in all, it's a really nice Keyboard :DD
