Not competitive as such, there is 4 player online co-op but if I remember correctly you could have duels in an arena somewhere.

Looks good, having never acctually played through borderlands (only breif bits here and there) i would have to get the first one before playing this.

The real pvp in borderlands2 is 1v1 and your stuf do the differences.
