Re: Gletch app #2
Is no one going to say anything about this banning problem?
And the fact that he lied again.

One mistake which will hopefully never happen again.Jay wrote:Is no one going to say anything about this banning problem?

If you want games, be sure to add me also.
so far looks good and remember that scrimms/interns are not just based on kills it's your ability to play well within your team and that your team benefits from having you in it.

It was public no tags were required.
It was a good game well played not bad skill but 1v1s show not much in my opinion, interns are where you really need to show your ability.

Other way round. Normal matches = no individual skill needed (at least not that important), it is enough when you know how to flagrun and how to defend which is easy compared to the ability of handling weapons. 1on1 is about pure skill, especially on A17 where you can't run or hide. Bad players blame the map when they lose, just like Gletch did (whining about sniper spawns), but skill is not about the certain weapon you carry right now. I often played guys like Vash, Insane, BlackStar, Star, Elegost, etc. on A17 and I still won most of my matche tho they got first blood (sniper advantage). It's all about movement, forcing your enemy to close combats, nading that gives you time to move where you want without taking risk of getting shot, e.g.Barcode wrote:It was public no tags were required.

So when you wanna get good at this game, practise weapons, movement and nading (and I'm not talking about nadespam, I talk about well thrown nades that give you advantages without dealing fatal dmg to your enemy).
Good luck.

I don't agree with you, Genius. 1v1 doesn't say anything about the skill. I don't define 'skill' as the ability how to aim with weapons - skill is about tactics and teamplay. I've seen so many 'good individuals' fail in teambased matches...

Re: Gletch app #2
This statement is not true. Ctf requires much more individual skill. In open maps the defender has to find the right mix of offensive and defensive in his positioning, as an attacker you have to work for a good situation to take the flag and then still the hardest part is not done - flag handling, and i dont mean flagrun but finding the right ways and killing your followers, is in my opionion the part of repcom which needs the most skill, especially in games with more ppl.GeniuZ wrote:Other way round. Maybe in maps as engine defending is not that hard but escaping in bigger games is.
I blame the map even if i win because its total dazzling bs which hurts in your eyes and is badly made - am i the worst player out there now?GeniuZ wrote: 1on1 is about pure skill, especially on A17 where you can't run or hide. Bad players blame the map when they lose, just like Gletch did
