okay after i reinstalled my windows i wanted to use my headset again.
sound worked fine but the mic didnt work for some odd reason...
i let windows search for drivers automatically and it said it installed the drivers blablabla....but it still didnt work <.<
help please

The sound management in general sucks since Vista to Win7. XP was good and easy.

have you already checked all your volume settings in SPEAKERS and in REALTEK ?
Maybe the overwriting process changed something like sound off or something similar.

Ah, I've that problems, too. But I don't use often my laptop. Windows XP is still easier ... So TeamViewer ... is it better for Vista?
