Just double click left mouse when you drop it, should make you swap to your gun immediately. I can't remember who told me this, but it's some very handy information!

Not possible without changing the source code. And since this game ain't open source, we can forget it.
At least you're able to view the unreal script/code, idk yet whether you can actually get changes/additions running. There is actually code for kicking and banning people (actor browser; Actor->Info->AccessControl),so Im comparing the RC and the ut2004 Script to find out how they've exactly removed the access to the admin commands. However chances are little to get it working.

Lol, I tried it like two years ago.... I tried EVERY admin mutator for several Unreal versions and all of them result in a server crash.

I suggest you taking a look at Unreal 2 XMP mutators, since it's almost exact the same engine. UT2K4 is _not_ the same engine like RepCom.

EDIT: I tried "XMPSummoner" for RepCom servers. Once it tries to load the mutator, the server crashes. Maybe there are only minor changes needed? I don't know.

In UNREALED if you open and goto ACTORCLASS BROWSER
UNTIK placeableclasses menu go down to CONTROLLER then down to
CT PLAYER then MP PLAYER in HIDDEN scroll down to CHEATCLASS
its set to "cheat manager" you can change to "None"
Maybe that stop cheat shit i dunno i hope so :cool:
also in HIDDEN what is bKeepHintMenusAwfulHack in MP ???

Do you think there is a way to disable the console? I think it would really help us improving the gameplay because people can not use all these commands anymore (centerview, switchgrenade, throwweapon, togglebehindview).
We could not change the name anymore, but I think it is not really needed, everyone can stick to one name in pvt matches (just using the profile name) and public people have to switch to the retail game anyway and do not have any disadvantage.

You can disable the console, but only via ini file. But people could still use their "set input" commands, although the console's disabled. And deactivating the console in PROMOD would be useless. A real "pro" needs the console.

No, you need to change some shit sometimes, like for connecting to servers, reconnect, changing name etc.

You can still do that in public, but just not in scrims. Would be good because ppl cant use these crappy "Wurst" names and other anonymous names anymore. Eveyone would use his profile name in scrims (remember that in some games you have only 1 profile name and there is no way at all to change it=.
And if you have to reconnect, you can retype the IP inthe main menue, just takes 10 seconds more. Finally I'd say all the console commands are rather a disadvantage.
Maybe it is possible to remove single commands, but I doubt it unfortunately. :/

Another thing my brother told me today.

His idea is: some dark vents without any light. And on the weapons we put taclights which can get switched on/off.
I don't know if this is possible but i think the idea is not that bad.
