Definetely not. It was not even deserved in 2006, but if they do not improve A LOT they'll need luck to pass the group stage or the 1/8 finals.

If Germany played against Italy right now they would totally destroy them. Italy did not look good for a World Champion and the drew is a fair end result.

not in my opinion, paraguay defended all the time, Montolivo, Criscito & Pepe played really well, in the middle we were ruling, the things that is missing is definetly a player who can make goal easily, I personally think italy deserved to win.

2006 was completely different. We have only a few people who played back then, most of our squad is completely new, which cannot be told of your team.

Paraguay had the better defence, you had the better midfield and neither one had a good finish. That's why a tie is 100% reasonable.

I love it how the germans on this forum are getting really upbeat now thinking cos they beat a shit side convincingly they can call the champions of the world below par. Teams like Italy and England didn't play well, but i'm sure as hell the German football team would shit themselves to come up against them regardless on their peformances. Italy will do well, they are in an easy group, if they can just get through that, they will do well in the knckout round.

italy and france play rly bad but they will finish it as 4th or smth
germany has played rly well, even it was australia, we played wtih a good structure and we are the best team so far. so dont be upset cuz england played shitty. before the cup started, i said like "germany wont win even one game", but if they keep playing like they did yesterday...
