For WinXP it's really fast and good. I would not go for Vista/Win7 for sure though.

1,7 Ghz are rly fast, ye for sure xD. Even my netbook has 2x 1,6 lol... Depends on what you want to do with it.

Do you have any clue about the Pentium M CPU? It's really effective!

It was Intel's first "good CPU" without this shitty Netburst technology.

By the way: The Pentium M with 1.6 GHz is around 55% faster than the Atom with 1.6 GHz. :-)
