I was playing with an old MX310 for like 5 years. This year I decided to go for something new.... I think one mouse in 5 years is acceptable. :-)

i have read the functions of the G9x at the logitech homepage some minuits ago, the only different i saw between the G9 and the G9x is the silver skin. if this should be everythink what is new on the G9x, i dont think that i'am the loser ;)

The G9x has a new laser sensor that is capable of 5000dpi, has a tracking speed of up to 150 inches/second (depending on the surface used) and works at up to 30g of acceleration. That compares to the G9 with its 3200dpi laser engine, maximum tracking speed of 65 inches/second and maximum of 20g. Both sensors have a polling rate of 1000Hz, or 1/1000th of a second between scans.
