... i am sad to hear this , i was inactive for a few days and now that i opened the game , no servers... makes me sad :// i don't want the game to die , i would donate 1 euro/month that's not a problem(i hate the noobs who play in the servers though.. -.-) but it's better than having no server(s) to play at... , every1 can donate 1 euro i think. even non-tx members , because now they got no server to play at. what about we post a topic in every clan about this? so more people can help .. (just a suggestion) up to u guys... and btw , if parents let their children donate , that means we can pay more than just 1 euro.. for sure.. since we got an internet connection as u said earlier , 1-2 euros per month is nothing.

But : to the other members... don't expect someone else to pay and u just sit and watch... every single person who reads this and can donate , should do it... please.
it's just 1 euro. help the game stay alive...
and soon , don't take too long because every day the servers are down , the game will lose some players. fast pls ://

Nice attitude, Santa - I agree!

Well... We don't force anybody to donate. But in my and in many others, these kind of ppl are just too stingy to pay for sth they use REGULARY. They think: Why should I pay, let the others pay... I could give you some names, but ofc I won't. This is just egoistic and I don't like such ppl. I did enough experiences in RL so I know what I'm talking of and the story you're telling us is just a disguise to avoid the payment.

I think currently they are still online, at least it is still possible to set them and I think I'd receive an error message if they'd be ofline. Earlier this day I could not find any server at all and also LL servers are "gone". I think that at the moment it is just a problem caused by GameSpy. That does not change our situation anyway.

and numb , u just gave me a good idea... thanks. what about we donate 2 euro every 2 months or 4 euro every 4 months? because u have to pay a little to send the money too , instead of wasting money at that , send the money and help us. example: u pay 1 euro to send the message that contains 1 euro in every month , that's 2 euro. u can send 3 euros instead , with 1 message , sounds ridiculous i know , but since it's just 1 euro from each of us... it's better than nothing i think...
numb said he can send 10 euros , well if he sends the euros 1 by 1 he would pay another 1 euro for each message he sends , it's better if he sends all in 1 letter.
vash , is possible to get a root server and pay for it a fee every 2 , 4 or 6 months instead of paying a monthly fee? or that would make it cost more? i really don't know :S

i said i can pay , it's not a problem for me , and to be honest: i am doing it for me , not for you in a part. i want servers to play in , and i don't have!! so i want to help the situation... if i was banned from every tx server i wouldn't donate of course , but since i am not , and since tx servers got good pings and many people , every person must pay for himself , for the server where he is going to play in...

and well , iron , even if they are on now and the problem is caused by gamespy as u said , vash will close them soon from what i read .. and he is right... he pays money for us at all , and he gets nothing , nor he plays in them... so that doesn't change the situation as u said :/

sorry , my bad :/ anyway , what about what i said earlier , can some1 please post a topic in every clan? i can post if u want me to , but it would be better from a tx to do that , Ironhide for example (don't get mad at me :P , i am not saying u have to do it :P if u're bored , i can try xD) it would help the situation.. and btw i said iron cause i know he has alot of knowledge and speaks good english.. and he is known by too many people , i see his posts in many clans :P like the tx 1on1 tournament , he posted about it , so he is good for this job :) .. anyway , i discussed it with dc-17 and he agrees.. should i post here all the clan pages i know?

Guys, guys... I've just found this topic after not checking the forums in forever. We have to do something about this, I hope you're all aware of that. Even if you're not in TX, so little can do so much now.

Santa, I would be careful in picking a person to post for us in other clans. Making the cause become popular is hard enough because of people being likely to not take that person seriously. Exclamation points alone are of no great help it has to be through the respect and renownedness of the person itself.

I don't play repcom anymore, I haven't been on a public server in probably about 2 1/2 years. Then maybe played around 10 +/- matches privately in the same amount of time. That's it for my 'recent' repcom activity
I'm not gonna start investing as much time as I used to into this game, or even CoD4. However, I've donated a few times before so I'm up for sending 6 euros to keep our servers up for people for half a year. Maybe the second server solution is the better one as we could run it twice as long (even though the set up fee is significant in the beginning).

Remember guys. Sending a 5 euro bill via normal letter works fine if you live in Germany if you don't want you parents to find out. If you're willing to do it but your parents won't let you or you don't want to ask them, that's the way!

Whatever you guys decide, if it's needed and you're lacking one person count on me. Even though I don't play anymore I'm not gonna be one of those who couldn't afford or wouldn't 'sacrifice' paying the price of two or three canned soups (yes, that's about 6 bucks) to keep RC alive for those who are still enjoying it.

I'm looking forward to see your choice of administrator, Vash. (If you wrote it on the 5 previous pages, excuse me for skipping over most of it.) I hope and I'm certain it is a good one.
