To make Lahm captain or to let van Bommel go? In my opinion he was a real leader figure and a big personality, something you rarely find in football these days. I thinks him leaving is a big loss for Bayern. On the other hand, it'll give Luiz Gustavo a chance to properly develop.

One more reason to don't like AC Milan.
"Chaos isn't a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some, given a chance to climb, they refuse. They cling to the realm, or the gods, or love. Illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is."

I never really was a fan of Van Bommel I really dislike his way of playing. To me it often seemed like when he even gets close to the ball the referee has to call a foul just because he´s acting rough and stupid. Another point is that they now have Luiz Gustavo who played very well in Hoffenheim on the postition Van Bommel is playing on, and I am sure he can do just as good/even better than Van Bommel.
Making Lahm captain was in my opinion the only option they had. At the moment they just dont have another player who can be a leader to the team. Maybe Schweinsteiger will be able to do that in the futur but he´s not ready for that yet.

That's all true, from a playing perspective he's not the gratest player in the world. But exactly that roughness and energy he showed is just what every team needs. As I said he is, or was, an incredibly important player due to his ability to push a team forward and being able to actively lead it. And that's a gap that no player at Bayern Munich is able to fill in at the moment.
Maybe Tymoschuck or Gustavo will play better, but the team has lost a grat deal of character.

Well Van Bommel is a great player for sure, but now Milan has become an ''old'' team again..., Van Bommel is almost 34 years old. In my opinion they should have a medium age of 25-26 instead of a 30 one :S

Yesterday in the German Cup match Schalke - Nürnberg, Schalke coach Felix Magath brought on a 17 year old boy called Julian Draxler in the 117th minute during extra time. Then he did this:

Must be a a pretty damn good feeling for a 17 year olf if Raul comes up to you to celebrate YOUR goal.

Carrol goes to Liverpool and Torres goes to Chelsea and maybe David Luiz to Chelsea too.

At his first match in the italian championship Van Bommel had a double yellow card lol

Juventus has just bought Matri from Cagliari.
Inter has just bought Nagatomo from Cesena.

Chelsea offered 50 millions to Liverpool to buy Fernando Torres

Btw why have Robben punched Muller? Does any german (and not only) guy know that? :nutty:

Because Robben shot a free kick way too high, to which Müller responded with an insulting gesture. That angered Robben so much that he choked (not punshed) him after the game and had an argument with him over the communication inside the team. But it has all been resolved by now and Robben and müller go along fine again.

Here are some Bundesliga transfers:
- Korean talent Ja-Cheong Koo to Wolfsburg
- Dieumerci Mbokani from Monaco to Wolfsburg
- Patrick Helmes from Leverkusen to Wolfsburg
- Tuncay Sanli from Stoke City to Wolfsburg
- Anthony Annan from Rosenborg to Schalke
- 19 year old Venezuelan talent Yohandry Orozco
- Brasillian talent Samuel to Werder Bremen
- Jan Polak from Anderlecht to Wolfsburg
- Tomas Hajnal from Dortmund to Stuttgart
- Ali Karimi to Schalke
- Prince Tagoe from Hoffenheim to Partizan Belgrade
- Michael Bradley from Borussia Mönchengladbach to Aston Villa
