League of Legends Div?

Maybe you know the game, maybe not. But it's one of the Top 3 most played games besides CoD4 & World of Warcraft. So my thoughts are quite understable: TeamXtreme has a BIG community and so I don't see any negative aspect about opening a League of Legends Division. I have many reasons for that. Here are some: At first the game is free to play! So this will give a clan the opporunity to get alot of active members and anyone can start playing it! Secondly when I start Xfire I see MANY guys playing League of Legends so why not asking them to be a part of a possible TeamXtreme League of Legends Division?

I´ll show you what League of Legends is.

League of Legends is a game inspired by the Defense of the Ancients map for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne[2] developed and published by Riot Games for Microsoft Windows.[3] It was first announced on October 7, 2008 and released on October 27, 2009.[4] The game was in a closed beta from April 10, 2009 to October 22, 2009.[5] It then transitioned to open beta until release.[6]
Steve "Guinsoo" Feak, the previous designer of the popular Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne custom map, DotA Allstars, and Steve “Pendragon” Mescon, the administrator of the former official support base for the map (http://www.dota-allstars.com), were involved with Riot Games in the development of League Of Legends.[7] Using the original DotA created by Eul (the original Defence of The Ancients map for Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos) as a base, Guinsoo made DotA Allstars by inserting his own mix of content, largely expanding the number of the heroes, and adding recipes, numerous items and various gameplay changes. Guinsoo then passed version 6 of the map on to its current developer, Icefrog. Pendragon, who is the Director of Community Relation

Is here some basic interest of having such a Division here? I am a really passionate League of Legends addict so no worry I won't be inactive. :)

at first LoL is a gay game(just look at the name) and i think Soldey you should really play only in one Div activ(like css)because to run two Divs is too difficult and it will fail for sure in some weeks like the MA Div you opened:)

An LoL division would be awesome. The game's current state is very active and so there would be a lot of possibillities to recruit people. Who should lead it though?

Well I played alot of games (atm about 1000). We should get 3 or 2 guys leading this division. Does anybody want to do this, too? I personally would like to lead this with one or two guys who have at least as much experience as me. Feel free to add my Ingame Account: EpicBeschö

Is there an option to play matches fx members only? I mean all I saw when using it was a ranked function and some custom game stuff. Is the customgame viable for training and stuff? Also is there going to be a goal for this division? I mean like are there tournaments hosted by ESL, or anything alike?

Of course ! Custom games are avaiable in any team size till max. 5v5 ! You can choose 3 different draft modes and decide between the 2 existing maps. Summoner's Rift & Twisted Treeline. Draf modes aviable at the moment are: Everyone picks a random champion, normal draft & ranked draft mode. There is a freindlist featured in the client so it is easy to make custom games. Simply invite your friends to the party. And if you don't want to have other people joining the party..simply put a password up ;)

Some upcoming features for League of Legends:
-Clan System (They didn't explain any new details)
- New Map called the Magma Chamber
- every 2 weeks patches within a new hero and balances for existing champions

And I really would like to partecipate at "Go4LoL" The montly League of Legends ESL tournament. So if we will be able to form some teams we will partecipate in it for sure!

Nice Idea Soldy, I actually don't play League of Legends since I don't like such games but it looks like a pretty active game, if you find enough people for a Division it would be cool.
Furthermore it could be possible that these guy see that we have other Divisions and they join them either.

It's worth a try.

But Soldey first of all you should make a topic for people to sign up, that way you can have a starting pool of players. :-)

I think LOL is a really bad game and i don't like it.
But if you can creat a div that is really active it's a good idea
