Internet

Post by Graphiix »

Hi guys,

I'm having some connection problem, and by pressing reset button and what ever, it didn't work

I'm having a normal ping like 40ms and sometimes like every 15 seconds having around 2200ms

Any suggestion? That's really annoying to play games and have such problems ( what is special is that this ping problem don't occures on my Xbox while playing online ) !

Windows 8

And I'm wireless! Dunno what you mean and how to get the answer tbh!

Btw, the problem might comes from the computer as I don't have problem on my Xbox!

Were you always on Windows 8?

I upgraded a few months ago and had no problems with Ethernet. However when I came home from Uni and switched to Wireless I got the exact same problem as you. I'm back on Windows 7 now and it's fine.

Well, I already tried reinstalling my drivers, and also tried simple reboots on my Livebox and also made a reset.

A friend of mine said me to uninstall Hamachi a long time ago and to reset my Livebox, I did it when I had my peaks and then, no peaks, and the peaks reapeared today but I no longer use to Hamachi...

Can you use an ethernet cable instead? Even if it would be 50m long, it wouldn't be a problem and 100x better than ANY Wi-Fi.
