Well if you say to a girl " Je t'adore " that means you like her a lot but not necessarily are in love with her.
If you say " je t'aime " that means you love her. See?

You just said that: "aimer de faire qc" (faire = to do) is weaker than "adorer de faire qc"

then you said: aimer is stonger than adorer in the example of the girl.

You are french but we learned it like i said.
If you love her tell her: Je t'aime or Je t'adore (thats stronger)
If you like her tell her: Je t'aime bien

Je t'aime > je t'adore > je t'aime bien. if you talk about love.

Now if you're talking about your tastes: j'aime < j'adore.

The same thing is expressed by this.

You can say: Je t'aime - I love you
je t'adore - I would die for you (more then love^^)

J'aime ce gateau - i love this cake (where like/love is the same)
J'adore ce gateau - I would die for a cake like this.

In love adorer is stronger than aimer. and aimer is not the same as aimer bien which means to like.

But i think we should ask one of the frenchs^^
