Battlefield 3 was made for PC, MW3 is xbox 360 renamed to PC with keyboard input.

I love this truth.

BattleField is good for pretty much everything.
MW3 has a COMPLETELY different playing style. I think its stupid to compare them.

Even though BF3 is soo obviously better.

COD is developed primarily on the console platform.

Yer i love that game i play with my mates and not take it seriously + I'm bloody good at it. any ways i will get for Xbox, but PC... Not sure. Already got sooo many games listed to get with my new PC :)

I don't know if comparing MW3 and BF3 was the main idea of this topic but whatever

(Playing FPS game on Computer is more enjoyable than playing on Console (in my opinion ofc)).

Actually in my opinion Black Ops was not such a bad game compared to MW2 on PC, as it actually had dedicated servers and eventually mod support. The stupid lobby system was so bad it took years to get into a game and then I had a horrible ping. When I did play MW2 then I used AlterIW.net which was developed by a group of guys to implement dedicated servers. Though the general gameplay of the game didn't quite suit my taste. Thats why when I play CoD I always come back to Cod4, the last good PC Cod title.

Now to the CoD fanboys, I'm sorry but MW3 really does look like not much more than an expansion pack for MW2 (new guns and weapons). The thing is that due to so many people buying the game(s) regardless of the quality seems to have made the developers and Activision quite arrogant and lazy. Though its understandable that their primary focus is the consolololol market, its abolutely ridiculous and insulting if they call dedicated servers and graphical options "features". In fact they boast around and imply that we as PC gamers should be so grateful for having these things in MW3. But I was willing to overlook these things and actually consider giving it a try if the PC reviews were any good. Then recently they specified on what they meant with adding dedicated servers...you will have play using the shitty P2P lobby system to rank up, as dedicated servers will be unranked (though they do say the server hoster will be able to define the perk + weapon unlocks available on the server, its not sure what that will actually mean).

Also don't be fooled by what IW tells you about it's "new" engine. Its just a few optimizations which allows them to be able to have more players on each team. But nothing like the player amount in BF3.

Also there won't be any mod support or max fps -> no competitive gameplay like in Cod4 promod. While MW3 may turn out to be good on consoles, will be a joke on PC.

I'm sorry if I ruined any of your guys's plans for a MW3 PC division, but I'm just giving my two cents here.
