Sicher, dass es welche gibt? Bei einigen Quellen wird gesagt, es gibt montliche Kosten, bei anderen steht es gibt keine.

Wie John Riccitiello, Chef von Electronic Arts, via Telefonkonferenz mitteilte, könnte Star Wars: The Old Republic ein kostenloses Online-Rollenspiel werden. Allerdings versehen mit Mikrotransaktionen. So müssen Sie beispielsweise für diverse Waffen, Rüstungen oder andere Items in die reale Tasche greifen.

Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, das es monatliche Kosten geben wird, in der Höhe bestimmt vergleichbar mit jenen von WoW.
Diese Mikrotransaktionen sind der größte Schwachsinn überhaupt, dadurch wird das Balancing extremst beeinflusst, bei monatlichen Kosten hat jeder die selben Voraussetzungen, wenn man einmal die individuelle Spielzeit jedes einzelnen aussen vor lässt.
Wenn sie das machen, dann sowieso nur aus dem Grund, weil eben viele von den monatlichen Kosten abgeschreckt wären, aber ob das die richtige Lösung ist...?
Also ich persönlich tendiere in diesem Fall eindeutig zu den monatlichen Kosten und hoffe, das sie solche "Mikrotransaktionen" nicht in das Spiel mit einführen werden.

i talked to some staff of Lucasarts at GamesCom they said clearly that there will be monthly costs..
But no one knows they said everything could be changed ;D

This game is gonna be a sack of shit. The only similarity between this and Kotor 2 is the time it took place; it's basically one big FU to Obsidian because Bioware didn't make Kotor2.

Well the Kotr gameplay has been heavily modified to be played as an MMO and as such it should play really good. Also the game is made by Bioware and that alone should make it good already, because these folks know what they're doing.

Wie bereits angekündigt wird es kein "Tank-DD-Healer" System geben, wie es z. B. bei WoW der Fall ist.
Es wird sicherlich möglich sein, sich zu heilen, es wird aber dafür keine spezielle Klasse geben, auch wenn andere Klassen sich besser heilen können, als andere.
Die Bosskämpfe werden sehr viel auf Geschick und Taktik setzen, aber lassen wir uns überraschen ;-)
