Well, you guys are right.
What's about closing the public RC servers and get some others for our new main division, but let 1 or 2 ip servers running so we can still play matches?! Not offending, dude, but it's bs to say "Even 1 scrim per day is too much"... lol. You mean, you cannot gain more skills in the other games or what? That's wrong, i play CS:S and RC actively and skill is up at both. So i would suggest to keep the pvt servers to play for fun ;)

Seriously, RepCom is the main game of TX, this clan was born for rep com, the only good idea that i saw here is Modern Warfare 2 but you need patience and practise.

But actually this topic is about creating another active division, and we do not need any negative comments here, go back to your forum when you have no helpfull suggestions, and saying "do not open a division" in a "let us open a division"-topic is not really usefull.

Lawl, RC is pretty unique, and maybe there is a lot of bugs, and this game is not very pretty, but this is the most active division than TX ever had ...


Feel free to stop paying servers, but you will do 3 bads things :

1 : You will make sad about 1000 players.

2 : TX will die, you guys are saying "Hey we change RC for another div in 2 weeks, we will get 400 new members and it will be very active, we will pwn"

3 : I'm sure everyTX don't get COD4 or combats arms, and if the division is started, it mean they need to buy this game, and if they can't, they can't follow the reste of the TX community.

i know about what im saying because we already do it with a french clan ( who doesn't play rc, in another game, the game were dead and changing in another game made this clan died)

I didn't say "UNINSTALL REPCOM, GO PLAY ANOTHER GAME".

What I said was, "Let's get 20 players to build up a new (or maybe existing) division and recruit people in this new game [3-4 recruiters]. I neither said "Stop paying for RC-servers VAsH"...!

All I did was trying to motivate members in TX... to create another division, which should be successful this time.

If you want to play RC: Feel free to do it! I also do it when I have time, and I love playing RC... but it's way too inactive. This is why I suggested to play a successful game, BESIDES Republic Commando or better explained: I wanted to create this division to have "something that keeps TX alive" in case RC dies.

And of course, it's way harder to have success in a popular game than in RC.. but with motivated people it should be possible...

EDIT: I think you didn't understand my idea at all.... I wanted to say: Get 20 people from the RC-Community and build together another division. AFTERWARDS, when the division is created, recruit people from this game (e.g. CoD4 Modern Warfare 2), so there will be non-RC player as well.

I hope that you, Dj_Pacio, Samo and Vicper, got my idea now. If you got criticism that's actually valid, I'm here to accept it or discuss about it.

Unfortunately the people who go for this, need to stop playing RepCom actively! Even one scrim per day is too much. I would support this way more if I had time. But now it's up to our fellow clan members to move on to a new game.

I also would say: When we're going to do that, we should stop running our RepCom divison. It's a hard but a needed decision. Of course not like 'tomorrow we'll just play game XY', but we should stop our support for RepCom step by step.

Otherwise TX dies with RepCom a slow death.

Because in this point, I actually agree with Judgement:

We actually don't need that the whole community move on... A little part can start an other division and recruits new people in this game (like the RepCom division has been made). Therefore, TX will get new members and will grow up.

Yes we did it, but with a difference:

I want to motivate you to build up a division with 20 players from the RC-section.
Afterwards (!) - and that's the difference - there should be 3-4 recruiters who search for talented players ingame.

An example (I hope it clears up everything):

We want to build up a division for the game "Combat Arms". We create the division with about 20 players from the Republic Commando Section. The RC-Section itself will stay alive, and RC with it's servers also (In Combat Arms we don't need to put up servers). Nothing will get deleted or changed. Now, that we got a basis of 20 players, we will pick 3-4 to act as recruiters. They will search for more or less talented players in Combat Arms. Which means we will get players from Combat Arms - players who never played Republic Commando.

EDIT: About the servers. It could be possible that we have to delete 1-2 servers in RC. To create a private and a public server in the new game, except it is called "Combat Arms" or "CoD4: Modern Warfare 1". But I don't rly know more about this, this is something to discuss with VAsH.

Samo: How can we loose this whole clan if we transfer our members from one division to another? You should have been here long enough to know that we're like a 'family' to each other. The TX community will never go down as long as we have enough members playing one game. I also think that the rest will follow when the RC division gets smaller. I love RepCom as well as you do, but sooner or later we have to face the facts. The game is dieing slowly and so will this clan if we aren't creating a new successful division.

Opening servers for games like Cod4 would actually satisfy about one million players.

This is not about two weeks, dear friend. The process will be moved on carefully until we have the members and the right 'foundation' we need.

I don't think that would be the main problem. It's up to each and one of us to decide if we want to stay in this clan for an upcoming game. As said, I think our members will follow the rest when the RC division gets smaller.

Remember that these were made as completely new divisions. By transferring our members from one division to another, we will get a lot more activity.
