Alright, I already worked a bit on the current maps (the easiest thing in this mod hehe) -btw. I let them as original as possible ofc.
Tell me what you think about these changes - btw. I would rename the files, no map will be overwritten.

Changing log
Engine:
•Replaced AA with a sniper
•Replaced Concussion with a sniper
•Deleted all EC nades
•Deleted the rocket
•Added 2 more nades for each team
•Deleted one trando spawn at the rocket (reason: to close to republic base)
•Fixed the stuck ath the republic ACP and Blaster place
•Removed 2 glitches in trando base
•Removed one glitch at the republic sniper
•Added 4 republic blasters in the trandoshan base
Lockdown:
•Removed AA
•Removed Concussion
•Removed Heavy Repeater
•Replaced EC nades with Thermal nades
•Added ammo of each blaster once in the middle
•Added 4 republic blasters in the trandoshan base
•Removed two glitches in both bases
•Removed two glitches in the middle
•Removed the hiding places in the walls
Arena A17:
•Added ammo of each blaster once in the middle
•Added 4 republic blasters in the trandoshan base
•Removed AA
•Removed Heavy Repeater
•Removed EC nades
•Placed 1 more bacta for trandoshan (so far, rep had 1 more, now they've the same number of bacta tanks)
•Added 4 republic blasters in the trandoshan base
Arena G9:
•Replaced the rocket with a 2nd sniper
•Removed EC nades
•Removed Sonic nades
•Removed concussions
•Replaced AA with the blaster which belongs to each base

for supernoob mod all i did was goto the VIEW
SHOWACTORCLASS BROWSER , UNTIK PLACEABLE CLASSES ONLY BOX,
scroll down to INVENTORY,clik on that then clik on WEAPON
there listed is all the weps in rc so for example to edit the Bowcaster scroll down to Bowcaster clik on it and it show BowcasterMP right clik on it and pik
DEFAULT PROPERTIES then in
AI is the burstcount for firing
WEAPON has FIRESOUND you kan change to anything you desire is a case of copying firesound cell from any other weapon
OPTIMAL DIST its shot range
PICKUPAMMOCOUNT
RELOADCOUNT
SHOTDELAY
in HIDDEN AMMONAME its ammo you can change to anything
FIREMODE auto ,semi etc
firstoff goto Properties folder and copy properties.u and paste loose in gamedata folder so if anything go wrong u kan drag n drop and dont hav to reinstall rc
wen u chang properties u need to exit unreal then it give you option to update and replace existing properties before u try to make map placements
I think if you edit your inventroy properties then update andreplace your existing properties and make the wep placements it store them at maplevel for pickups
pfw clan have made seperate properties file for xtra modded weps so i need to ask them but they dont hav props file with their maps dload for testchamber so it must be the case
Arramus told me hed made the bacta dispenser into an electric shok gun for mp. but he said suthn about you need to edit spawn points also ?? i not the mapper like you IRON and the other men so i dont know..

Well, I have an idea that I've talked to Fraz about for a couple weeks, now.
It's a Search and Destroy mode, like in Counter Strike. Fraz says it's very possible, we can use the bomb planting animations from single player. We can use Assault as the base for this mod. I also suggest taking shield off, but that doesn't seem to be every one's favorite idea. I like it because the damage seems more realistic, another reason I like it is probably because it changes the game, not the same thing every time.
As far as the Search and Destroy mode goes, I think it could be added in for scrimmages and such, as an alternate from TDM and CTF.

I like this. The part without any shields. It would make the game much more hardcore and would force each player to play more tactically and enforce more teamwork in stead of having lots of small faces off of skill. With glitch I was always taking about some flagthrows, where you can not return the flag. There were 2 of them on these boxes, I just added a third on each sothat you can not throw a flag on them anymore.Details?Ironhide wrote:•Removed 2 glitches in trando base

Alright, there is 1 blaster now, but I did not remove the repeater for the case there are some players who do not like the blaster. I also placed a repeater in the rep base. If it is possible to set the shield off but still playing on normal servers, we could add some kind of hardcore mode for Republic Commando, that would be nice. :)

Could anyone post this in some forums? Would be good if as many people as possible know this and might help us, it is already in the MA and GG forums, but I have no account and do not even know the websites of RRP and RC, maybe someone could post this in their forums.

If we want to create a whole new mod, I have some ideas.
- New sounds. (I am using the quake ones atm, which is epic) - Thanks Vash. ^^
- New skins for both clones and trando.
- New gamemode (Search and destroy would be epic)
- New maps.
- The old maps. (With fixes)
- Modded weapons.
- New texts in-game, like the ones Ironhide made. (Two kills, three kills etc.)
- A new interface (Just a small edit which says it's ProMod)
That's what I was thinking of so far. If we get enough members to work, this could be done. Would've been really EPIC! :D
