Lol Numb, you got it^^ This is exactly what I'm working on atm. I could change it to red for sniper but Blaster is really difficult. I'll give my best.

I could make it smaller but we did some tests and it's rly easier with the bigger one including the point in the middle.

Pistol has a slightly different crosshair. Bowcaster... mhm... I dunno. Actually nobody uses this shit - at least not very often^^ It's pretty hard to change the zooming crosshairs like sniper. That's the next step. If there's sth. new, I'll post new vids.

Ah before I forget it again: I'd like to change the damage of the weapon and how precise a weapon can shoot. I think blaster could be more precise and could have slightly more damage. Additionally the sniper could have a damge of exactly 50% (not zoomed) and 100% (zoomed). This means if you're getting zoomed, you're dead. Othwerwise we have this sniper-to-blaster-change for the last 2 bars again :P But this is up to you. Tell me what damage the weapon should have.

The crosshairs you've made are really awesome Storm. If as you said you can get the bluish blaster shooting light into red it would just be: waoh. :up: :up:

I like this idea. Also the crosshairs in the video are good, at lest for the sniper and blaster, but I dont really like the triangle you used for the shotty.
Actually I think killing someone with the shotgun is way too easy, caused by the high spray rate you always hit the opponent. I think it could be intresting to remove the crosshair from the shotgun to make it a bit more difficult.
Narcissus: You never hit more than 1 sniper shot in a row. Never have.

Well I don't want to be rude, so with this being my first post I'll introduce myself as a member of TAG clan, who likes to map quite often.
I'd like to help out, with both suggestions and actual modding work. As this pro mod seems to be a great idea.

I'd like to ask if you would be able to change the HUD arms image so that the blaster ammo is also red.. The blaster was designed with a blue theme, and changing it to red will be awesome, but only if the entire theme is changed.

I would like to suggest a new weapon:
A Geonosian claw (Elite Beam [laser weapon]), that does not actualyl fire anything, but gives you a huge speed boost (like pistol, but even faster), and does even more melee damage than the shotgun. If you've ever used it you'd notice it makes one hell of a cool melee weapon.
I'd also be great for CTF matches with an even higher speed than the pistol.
If you do attempt this (I could try it myself also. A non shooting gun is very possible), I fear you might have to ask Fraz or someone with more knowledge, as when I tried it the gun would disappear once dropped (if the ammo was 0), and to make the gun incapable of shooting, it's best to set the ammo to 0 (thoguh you could set a charge up time to 99999999).

I doubt anybody will agree with this idea, but I'm throwing it out incase someone thinks it's genius:
The sniper would be pretty epic if it had only 2 shots, but recharged liek the pistol, and the 2 shots could fire one immediately after the other.
There are many implications of this, and I'm sure you can work them out.

Also, maybe you guys should increase teh damage of the bow caster so it's more commonly used..

I'm sorry if you find this offensive of me posting and immediately throwing my foreign ideas at you all.
I'll (soon) post a map I've recently worked on so you can get an idea of my skills, and what I can do.

this claw weapong would be a really awesome weapon ^^
but i dont think, that the sniper should be changed that drastically only the damage and crosshair etc

About your ideas:

The Sniper thingy could be rather interesting, but I guess the only thing we should do to this weapon is change its crosshair and damages.

As for the Geonosian Claw, I think it would be a great mistake if we use it as a melee weapon with increased speed of the user : RepCom would lose all its sense and tactical possibilities, as half of the players will just run like rabbits arount the map, "knifing" everybody on their way...
It would turn in a kind of "Man vs Alien" game, if you see what I mean.

there would be ways to minimize the number of players using such a weapon...
u could simply place only one of those weaps somewhere on the map^^

I thought it would be very easy for a player to kill someone with the claw, the idea was mainly for variance, and so you could use it for running.
Of course you would balance it so that any player would prefer to use a real gun for battle rather than the claw. Then for maps like lockdown you are probably too often at a distance to use the claw as a weapon anyways (as you'd die by the time you get to them)
But I mainly imagine this as a weapon the user would prefer over the pistol, and hopefully not any real guns. (maybe in that case the melee damage should be less than or equal to the shotgun).
During battle you don't see the player try to get into melee range with the shotgun so they can use the melee instead of shooting. Hence if the claw had the same melee capabilities as the shotgun, then obviously in a fight one would swap to say a shotgun, instead of using the claw.

Then we should make it exactly the pistol speed, but with increased range of melee hit.
