Nice to see a Belgian who's not going in a club just for money. He wants to go to Tottenham to have a better view of "big" clubs, playing CL, so he can take more experience.

Mancini:

The Italian also made clear that Van Persie remains a summer transfer target when he was asked who he preferred out of the Arsenal captain and Napoli’s Edinson Cavani.

“Van Persie is world class,” said Mancini. “Cavani has everything. When he was playing for Palermo, I wanted to take him to Inter.

“To sign Cavani at his present valuation is impossible. For Van Persie, it is a bit different.

“Gael Clichy and Samir Nasri were a year before the end of their contracts and for Arsene Wenger it was difficult to keep them.”
Piss off Mancini.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is confirmed (apparently) to earn his second cap for England tomorrow against Belgium, Welbeck will also start.

And Ralf Rangnick, the man who got Hoffenheim from 3rd division into the Bundesliga, led them to become league leaders at Christmas in their first season there and got Schalke into the CL-Semis in 2011, will become the new West Brom manager. Great move from West Brom, as Rangnick is a little TOO good for them tbh.

1: Money got Hoffenheim from 3rd division into the Bundesliga
2: Magath got Schalke into the CL Semis

Rangnick always quits his team when he sees things are not going so well. :lmao:

Mancini is a hiprocitical cunt, he deserves to be exiled and shot. As for Oxlade-Chamberlain, can't wait to see him in action! Good luck to the lads tonight, will also be watching Hazard.

1: Money alone doesn't cut it, you also need a manager who can handle it (See Wolfsburg, ManCity before Manchini). Sure it played a huge role, but Hoffenheim played some amazing stuff between 2007 and 2009, which Rangnick can be credited for.

2: Let's just say he didn't bring Schalke to the semis, but staged the victory over Inter Milan, thus bringing Schalke t the semis^^

Wenger, sign Ibrahim Afellay please. Him and RVP are fantastic together, they have a great understanding.

Not deserved win imo. A draw would be better.

England defended the whole match, Belgium had to score.

To be fair, he is available for only 6m at the moment, although that could change if he has a good Euros...

Doubt Wenger would sign him anyway, we have a lot of players in that sort of position.

Well, that is how England are going to play under Hodgson. Tough to break down and counter attack when they have the chance. It isn't particularly enjoyable to watch, but so far it has worked, albeit against inferior opposition.

-----------------------------

Edit: Well, Gary Cahill has been ruled out of the Euros via injury, and Martin Kelly has been called up to replace him. This squad is becoming more of a joke every day.

This is bollocks, they bring up a shitty Right Back for a Centre Back? Just call up Rio instead, he may be old but he's still good.
