Well, we got Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, Thiago at a really good level. Song won't play.. +Some youngs needing time to play.

Can he play nice in defense ?

It's where he started his career, Wenger started playing him at DM in 2008. He is nothing special at CB though, lacks discipline.

Edit: Alex Song has cleared out his locker at London Colney.

Basically confirmed that he is gone now, Sahin likely coming in on a season-long loan as a short term replacement.

Rumors say that Berbatov is pretty close to Fiorentina now.
If we're really going to buy Berbatov, I think we can reach even Champions League, since some 'rivals' such as Milan, Lazio, Udinese, Napoli didn't buy great players, and sold some good ones (e.g. Ibra, Thiago Silva, Lavezzi, Handanovic etc.). Forza Viola!

Yeah Fiorentina is doing a very good mercato, they can reach the top 5 or even better.

I don't think Juventus will lose this new season, they are better than last year, and opponents are worse...

I want to see AS Roma by Zeman, that's gonna be amazing, the way he plays is amazing.

Tonight, Clasico number 1 in the Spanish Supercup.

Pretty nice start for Juventus and Fiorentina, Juve beat Parma 2-0 (Lichtsteiner, Pirlo) and la viola beat Udinese 2-1 (Maicosuel, Jovetic, Jovetic). Milan showed his real 'potential' for this season, and lost in San Siro against one of the new entries, Sampdoria, 0-1 (Costa).

we haven't seen the same match i guess : 2 posts for Milan and 3 saves on the Samp line...

but i also think they are going to do one of their worst season this year,
and the Juventus will probably win again...

Arsenal looking to sign 2-3 more players apparently after pulling out of the deal to sign Sahin on loan. Rangel of Swansea and Mbiwa of Montpellier are both targets. Arsenal transfer fixer Dick Law is also in Germany at the moment trying to sort out a deal, not sure whether it is a player being sold or bought, though we do have to sell to buy due to squad registration rules.

Despite drawing 0-0 in both of our opening games there have been some very good positives, especially the new found solidity of our defence; the players look more focused and confident. Steve Bould as the new assistant manager just could be the signing of the season.

2 post doesn't necessarily mean that Milan played good, Sampdoria didn't even care about scoring, and on the 2nd half they just defended their 0-1. Milan hasn't a good central forward who can score just like Ibrahimovic, and their midfielders are just average, Pazzini is not even that good. Lets see if Niang will help them out.

yeah true... i have to say that the match was really boring

the attack isn't the best but with pato, pazzini and robinho, i hope they can do something not bad, what's worrying me the most is the defense Nesta and Thiago silva were really good players and for me it remains only Abate as good player and perhaps Bonera
