No, they started working on 7 before XP released (just had another name, at first Blackcomb, than Vienna, and finally 7] they had difficult things to do and they never reached what they want to do [any applications], so they released XP and Vista first and now it works xD [in their point of view]Ridley wrote:Vista is an epic fail, just as ME and 2000. They begun work on Windows 7 imediatly after Vista was released, i think that speeks for itself.
Can't support that statement. Win2000 was an awesome operation system and I still use it for my father's system, although I could install WinXP on it. Only the fact that there aren't updates and enw DirectX releases for it anymore makes me to use WinXP. Win2000 is fast and clean and that's why I like it.Ridley wrote:Vista is an epic fail, just as ME and 2000

Because Win7 will be like a 'better Vista', since it's based on it. The same with XP: It's based on Win2000.Ironhide wrote:Finally I don't see a big change from Vista to 7 so far.

Ok, maby 2000 has it's preferences, but it was way too short lived to build a solid userbase, and with that any more support. But you have to agree, ME in fact WAS an epic fail (as i said, just like vista).Vash wrote:Can't support that statement. An epic fail is Vista. I would even use Linux instead of it, if it would support DX10.
What do you understand as SPECIAl graphics card?Ironhide wrote:Windows 7 will fail as well, it does not support some special graphics cards (you can't watch movies with those cards), because -if they are not the latest- 7 blocks them, because you could save the stream on your HDD, and only new cards block that...
Senseless...
Finally I don't see a big change from Vista to 7 so far.

well thats kinda understandable, since these technologies are outdated by 2 generations, in the case of agp, and also almost 2 in the case of vga (display port will soon retire DVI). So this is a step they had to do sooner or later.Ironhide wrote:Old cards, like GeForce 6XXX or ATI xXXX lol.
AGP cards and cards without DVI.
