Wow... this one will probably be a new record on IMDB. It has an incredibly high rating of 9.2 with 92.000 votes - awesome.

And Die Hard 4.0 mhh better than Die Hard 3 <.<
And you would not like it with 720p or 480p?
How does 1080p make a movie better, is it improving the actors performance or the story?

Btw. Die Hard 4 is definetely worse than 3, except you are only looking for cool effects and that's what you are obivously doing if you even like 2012 that much. :-)

Isn't 720p a Blu-ray quality aswell?

720p=1280x720 and 1080p=1920x1080, it's a bit better and I think Blu-Ray is always in 1920x1080. I'm not that sure though.

A BluRay is nothing more than a 25GB or 50GB DVD. It can display a movie at any resolution up to 1080p, depending only on your TV. So if you got a BluRay player and a TV that "only" supports 720p, the movie will still be displayd in 720p.

You can even watch a DVD in Full HD. But would you automatically associate a DVD with 1080p? Probably not, but I strongly guess you associate a Blu-Ray disc with 180p and not 720p or anything else. ;-)
But back to the roots of this discussion, neither a 720p nor a 1080p movie improves the actors performance or makes the story better.

Btw. Blu-Ray discs are available till 128GB. And 200 is also possible but not receivable yet.

No i dont only looking for special effects. I like the story, too but i think the special effects are so awesome(in Full HD and when u watch with a big TV)

Ye 4.0 was different to the other parts but... idk Die Hard 3 didnt really intertained me.
I dont like 4.0 because of the special effects. its the story. And i like Bruce Willis so Die Hard is a really nice film.

The name of the movie reminds me to the TV show by Steven Spielberg called Taken, it is just awesome! But w/e that's offtopic since this is about movies, but I had to post this because of the name. :D
