The VSS is an automatic sniper rifle so what, as long as it serves its purpose, it does not matter if it is an automatic sniper rifle or not. kill is kill

okaay at short distance
but every sniperrifle kills with one shot at short distance so it doesnt matter how much damage it makes ;)
