You have time until sunday (12.6.2011) to prepare your clan for the tournament (each clan is allowed to have 3 teams). We need either 8 or 16 teams, so the clan that signs up first is allowed to play, who is too late has to wait for the next tournament! Hence a 2nd or 3rd team by clan is only possible if we did not get 8 teams, if we have too much we can also expand on 16 if possible.
After everyone signed up, the tournament will start on the 15th of June 2011. There is a delay between the start and the signup to manage the groups if too much or not enough signed up.
Each round would last over 7 days, in which you have to play your matches.

• What does clanbased mean?
Clanbased simply means that each clan is fighting for its own honor. Every clan's member is allowed to take part. from a private up to the leader.
• What exactly is a tournament, why not a ladder?
The teams will be randomly filled in a bracket, who wins one round continues and reaches the next one. If a team loses it is out of the tournament. If one team signs up, but won't play, we need quotes and some good evidence that the other team tried to play the match - if so, they will pass the round.

Technically each player can take part in one match, it is not needed to sign up. Just the team leader of one team (does not have to be the clan leader) has to play and has to get subs for his match. If one clan has several teams, the players are not allowed to play for both teams! If both teamleaders of one match are online and agree to play, they have to declare the amount of players, everything from 2v2 to 16v16 is possible.
One round will be played in the best-of-3 mode, who wins 2 out of 3 matches has won the round. In the first 2 matches, each team can choose one map but has to play as trandoshan on their map. The 3rd map has to be decided by both teams together - 3rd round will be played on retail maps ONLY! All retail and WP maps are allowed, since the WP includes maps by most/all clans because we asked them if they want to include their work, this should be a fair deal for everyone. Hence everyone who wants to play in this tournament needs WP4.1 in case that one team wants to play with it. If a sub does not have WP, the match will be count as a loss for his team. Same counts for a quit after 1 or 2 matches if there was no decision yet. Matches can be delayed during one round if both teamleaders agree.
• How to sign up?
If you want to play, reply to the official announcement in the TX forums and post that your clan will take part with the following text:
