External harddrive

Post by Numb »

Halla. Getting my new laptop within 2 weeks and I want an external harddrive for it. Should be fast and about 500-1000GB. Any suggestions? I heard WD produce some good ones but I dunno much about it...

USB 3.0 or FireWire? USB 2.0 is slow.

Just for backup or should it be a handy and portable one?

I'd recommend this one:

http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/produc ... ifications

1TB, 2,5" and USB 3.0. Price is around 90 Euro.
