.NET Framework

Post by Graphiix »

Hello guys,

I need some help! I've been downloading a Private Server for a game with my bro, and when starting the game, I've an Error.

It says this: " Erreur CLR: 80004005 "

I've been looking on Google, and many people said me to update my FrameWork to 4.0.30339. So I downloaded the version on the site. And when updating, in the end, it said that an error as occured.

I searched over Google, and many people said that I've to delete older version, so I did, and then I've to re-install the verision wished. So I did, and it keeps saying me this Error after trying to install the FrameWork.

Could you guys help me?

PS: The game works for my bro and some other friends!
PS²: The message occures when I open a launcher ( as admin or same message without being admin )!

Try this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=17851" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Then reboot and perform a Windows Update.

Well, it won't help me to solve my problem...

Does a better version than 4.0.30339 exist?

I saw this;

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/5a4x27ek.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

But, dunno if it will work! ^^

EDIT: It worked, but the game keeps saying me the same error!

4.5 is the latest version included in Windows 8 and Visual Studio 2012.

I highly doubt you need 4.5 for a program to run a server for a game unless the game was designed for Windows 8.

I recommend you try the .NET Framework cleanup tool removing all versions then installing 4 via web installer vash linked.

http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archiv ... 04493.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

PS: How long is it since you re-installed Windows? It's not surprise its fucked up with the amount of viruses you've had.

I already did what you mentioned, Penguin!

Someone told me to use this cmd: chkdsk.

It took me like 2hours! --'

Still doesn't work!
