New computer

Post by DC-17 »

Hey guys,

As you know I'm the biggest noob in computer out there. Could you tell me which of the following gear is best AND if it is possible to play in "ultra" (graphics) on games such as BF4? Thank you!

Option 1:

HP Envy 700-277 ez
Intel Core i7-4770 up to 3,9 GHz - 32 Go DDR3 RAM
AMD Radeaon R9 270, 2 Go GDDR5
SSD 128 Go + 1 To hard disc

Option 2 :

MEDION ERAZER X5394D
Intel Core I7-4770 (3,4 Ghz, 8Mo Intel Smart Cache)
Nvidia Ge-Force GTX 770 (2048 MO DDR5)
128 Go SSD
2 To hard disc
16 Go DDR3 RAM

Option 2!

If possible please swap the CPUs. The CPU of option 1 is better.

MEDION ERAZER X5394D
Intel Core i7-4770 up to 3,9 GHz
Nvidia Ge-Force GTX 770 (2048 MO DDR5)
128 Go SSD
2 To hard disc
16 Go DDR3 RAM

Edit:

Short information about the GPUs:

Advantage of AMD videocards:

The games can be played very fluently by higher resolutions

Advantage of Nvidia videocards:

They are fame for having a better Physx than the AMD's. To be honest I've never noticed the difference...

Any chance you let someone build a computer and order the parts yourself?

Okay thank you very much.

Problem is every time I change components my computer ends up failing^^

For instance I had a predator and installed a Saphir Vapor X 770X or I don't know what on Earth it was and as a result I can't even play bf3 or bf4 anymore :D So I prefer going the safe way and have something all pre-prepared :)

There are several hardware online shops in Germany where you can use a "PC builder". They build a PC from parts you choose.

Here's my suggestion:

I fixed it.

Vash's suggestion looks good, personally I'd rather spend a little more to get the GTX 780, but the R9 290 would do a great job as well. And I would recommend a Samsung SSD.

Intel are just as good. Just don't get OCZ, lol.

I prefer Crucial MX100 atm. Better price, same performance.
