Ok well soon im getting a new comp and im going to get cod4 i just want to know what i should run it on. The computers specs are as follows;
AMD Phenom X4 9650 AM2+ (4x 2.3Ghz)
4GB DDR2 800mhz (2x 2GB)
Nvidia GTS 250
So what should i run it on? Low high? what settings should be what?

High settings should be possible without problems .

i wouldnt take a gts250 i would take a radeon 4870 as a case i can advise you an cooler master dominator X (cm 690) but thats your decision

Well, i dont really feel like spending another £70 on a video card and then about £50 just to stop it overheating but the case im getting with it is fine, just cant remember its name

The 4870 with 1 GB of RAM is better choice and it's not even that expensive. The difference is ignorable.

I've chosen a remarkably cheaper rig, almost the same quality for alot less.
AMD Athlon II x2 ~2.9GHZ
4GB Ram
and the 4780 is £15 more than the 250, so if its not that much different ill stick with the 250 =]
Should come up to £370 including the GPU OS etc..

Dude, the 4870 with 1 GB is like 35% faster than the GTS...
