I/O Error

Post by Jones »

the request could not be made because of an I/O error
That what the error says when I try transferring stuff to my external hard drive. It'll work for sometime but then that error happens and idk what to do.

Either the controller (what converts your HDD to USB) is damaged or the HDD itself is. There is also the possibility, that the USB controller of your motherboard is damaged.... you should try it on another computer.
