TeamXtreme WarZone presents: The Republic Archive

Republic Archive is the new ladder type released by TeamXtreme WarZone. Introducing the Republic Archive, we're also starting the first Republic Commando clan ranking system ever! There are many things separating Republic Archive from other ladders and tournaments. A close study of the ladder name might clear things up.

________________________________________________________________

Players, teams, clans etc. can choose to agree with both teams at the start of the match to make it a Republic Archive match. This means the match will have to be reported in the ladder. This way, we can fill the Warzone database with the matches wich are played in the Star Wars: Republic Commando community.

This way we can keep the community alive and revive the clan competition! This is actually the main aim of this ladder, bringing some competition and battles in the clan business and creating a clan ranking! But we make also sure that our eternal clashes and epic battles will never be forgotten, since WarZone will save them all.

The Repuplic Archive is a kind of big SWRC library containing the matches wich have been played in the past. But also this will generate a clan rankings system, besides all other tournament and matches. It will have no end, it is just like a world ranking list in sports. ;-)

But there will also be tournaments and ladders as you know them from the past and present, if there is for example a tournament hosted other 2 weeks, the Republic Archive will be closed for this amount of time but the first 3 clans at the end of the other tournament/ladder will gain special XP in the Republic Archive as prize!

Ok, enough introdution so far. Read the following part to clear things up, it contains more detailed information about the RA rules and how it works.

________________________________________________________________

•What does clanbased mean?:
clanbased simply means that each clan is fighting for its own honor. Every clan's member is allowed to take part. from a private up to the leader. The team has no players maximum andmatches from 1v1 up tol 16vs16 are allowed. Challenge other clans to prove that you're the deserved champions and earn the crown!

•Which game mode will be played?:
Players choose before match start the type of game they will play. Every(!) game type and mod is allowed, from a simple 1vs1 over Teamdeathmatch, Assault, Capture the Flag, InstaGib, Conquest, Promod and so on.

•How will US vs EU matches look like?:
Because of ping differences we had to create something special for this to try to make it fair. EU vs US matches will have a longer duration. This is because of the amount of battles which need to be played. There will be 2 matches played, 1 on a US server and 1 on a European server. Each match will be reported as once, they wont count together! But remember: It has to be 2 matches!

•Will there be specific rules?:
This is even the most beautiful part of the Republic Archive. The rules are player picked! With bots sides are agreeing ofcourse.
For example:
TX wants to play versus MotR, They both agreed on an Republic Archive match. But they also want it to be fun so they decided to use noob weapons. Using Noob weapons in a normal match would be strictly forbidden, but since these are matches not following the usual WarZone rulesi it's possible and just strictly for fun. They can alter the rules to make their own orginal match. Of course after, it will be reported on Warzone.
NOTICE: That both sides need to agreed on the rules and the fact it is a 'RA' Match.

•How does this WarZone work?:
If you have not took part in any tournament by WarZone yet, the first step should be to know our website: http://www.tx-gaming.net/warzone/

•How to play a Republic Archive match?
This is quite easy, let me explain how you start a match. At first you find your opponents and teammates in Xfire, I suppose you knew this before. Once you did that, visit the WarZone website and click on this banner to challenge them officialy:

Fill in the match conditions:

Now your opponent's team leader gets a PM and has to accept the challenge:

Now you can play your match!

•What to do when the match is finished?

Now both team leaders have to report the match immediately!
The leader (or captain) of the team which lost has to click on "Report a Loss":

Now the winning team has to confirm/finalize the match by clicking on "Report a Result" as well, but the result is already given!

That's it, the scores are in the ladder now!
•Do we need to take screenshots?
You do not have to post screenshots to report a match, but if your opponent does not report a match a WarZone staff member can do this - he would need a screenshot. It is highly recommended to take a screen at the end of a match!

•Any questions?
If you have general questions about the WarZone website visit our tutorial:

If you do not find answers there, feel free to send a WarZone Staff an e-mail or contact them on forums or threw Xfire. You can find there AIM/Xfire/Mail on the the staff page on TX WarZone. Also there is a contact list topic in the Warzone forums.

Now there is enough said for the moment, go ahead and get your clan to the top of the ranking and make it the number one in Star Wars Republic Commando, earn the crown for your clan to officially call it the best clan in this game and avoid that anyone can doubt this!

~Have fun and play fair, TX WarZone Staff!
I'm pretty good at stuff, until people watch me do that stuff
