The poll's outcome is really surprising in my opinion, since we didn't talk about BFBC2 before at all.
With such a close result we should do another poll only between CoD4 and BFBC2 in my opinion. Not because i want CoD4 to win, but because you can't build a clan around a game, if you don't have a total majority.

Anyways I'd volunteer as CoD4 organizer, but only organizer, since I am very inactive on the PC at the moment (thanks to Modern Warfare 2), so that there should be a second person who plays active, if I were chosen.

Yep. But there's also an advantage:

If the opinions are splitted up in 2 big parts, which have almost the same supporters, we can get both Divisions get running. If we could get 2 organizers for each Division, and the members are going to buy this game, we can build up 2 active games instead of one. If it's still really, really close between a poll of MW1 and BC:2, it just would be fair, cuz like the half of the clan doesn't want to play the game the other part has voted for. And it's possible with enough engagement.

Yes, i know what i have to do then. And as Iron said, it would be better to have more than 1 organizer, 2 would be better. You can divide the work and it will run even more smoothly.

2 organizers would be the best solution, imo. I can also ask some rl-friends if they want to join us (they have played BF2142 before, too).

The advantage we have with Battlefield Bad Company 2 is, that it is not released yet. We can prepare everything accurately and be represented in the game community from the first day on. Even we can get a clear overview who will finally play the game, we can get up the forum parts perfectly etc.
The organizer/s should take their time and create the division as good as possible.

Additionally the CoD4 division will stay as active as it is now, because the BC:2 division will grow alone and is independent of the current TX members, because a lot of people can join it in the first days, when there are not many other clans. Therefore the members of CoD4 can stick to their division, and the base of the new division will be build around the 12 guys who voted for it. :)

I am not sure if a third CS:S division would be such a good idea, would be too hard to run 4 divisions now, when there will be enough BC:2 members, some guys could try this in my opinion, but definetely not soon.

I'm actually not going to pay $$$ for a brand new game. I'm sure there are alot of other members here who have this oppinion. (... and who are missing the money. Or even aren't ready to pay that much for a new game....)

Sounds good (Geni and Iron), 2 organisers for CoD4 and 2 for BCC2. No CSS yet.

@Vash: I haven't got much money and I am also not ready to pay money for a new game. As you already said, many ppl have the same opinion like you (and me), but I'm sure that we will find enough members (since we have got enough time).

I think that those will be our next steps:

- Getting volunteers for both divisions (organizers for CoD4 and BCC2 --> new topic).
- Putting up a poll to elect 2 organizers (which will be both DivGen's?) for each game
- Clarifying whose a future member of BCC2 (and additional members for CoD4, ranks for old members stay, rest: reorganize)
- Every member until now helps to search more members
- Getting at least 20 members
- Creating ranks and squads if needed
- Getting servers
- Further needed (also adapted to the game if needed) stuff; like asking the question "What do we want to achieve?" Taking part in tournaments? Playing for fun?, etc...
- Maybe (own idea) you can elect a few recruiters for a division, who will look for more or less talented players ingame.

Just remember, keep this active and you will have success.

You can already pre-order the game for about 49€, 60 on consoles.
Compared to CoD4 it is not that much more, CoD4 is currently at 35€.
We have some weeks until it's released, so everyone can put 5-10€ a month in his piggybank sothat he has enough money when the game hits the market.
Of course, a new game coasts some money, but as I said in BC:2 we do not need that many members as we would need in an already released game, because the division grows on his own!

Ye, it's not that expensive. And remember, if you take 5 € for eacht month, you need to add only 25-30 € and that's not the world ;)

A poll's result will never make everyone happy, but you could at least support the clan and try to help as much as possible, even when you wont play the game. :)

it´s not about the result. i was sure that the outcoming would be very unpleasant for me but i got a lot of other things to do and tbh im not playing video games anymore except at lan partys with my friends. i just lost the fun in playing videogames and that´s the reason why i think that i dont have to be a part of the new division.

there you can read, that the open beta will start this December and a multiplayer demo will come out at the beginning of the next year!

when geniuz and iron haven't a problem with me, i would become an organizer for the new section too!
