A Battlefield 2 Veteran would say: Bad Company? Never heard of it. Singleplayer? I donßt need it. Bad Company 2? I won´t buy it. But after the some Minutes iin the first Multiplayer-Match i was persuaded, Battlefield Bad Company 2 is a real Battlefield. And indeed the fastest of all Battlefields.
Even the biggest Battlefield 2 Fan have to admit a weakness of Battlefield 2: There are no destruable Environment. But in Bad Company 2 you could destroy almost everything , even concrete Buildings. I just have have taken from an alleged cover out a tank under fire but in the next Moment there wasn´t a wall anymore. So there is always changing the tactical situation. There would have been in Battlefield 2 still an insurmountable wall, But in Bad Company 2 the enemy may explode his own Way through the wall. A Forest which has given me cover would look like a footballfield after 5 Minutes in a Match of Battlefield Bad Company 2. In Battlefield Bad Company 2 , it is the best if you go in a squad to kill the enemies. It is much more easier then if you play an "Professional" Match. The Advantage of this: You could join at any point of the map where your squad is moving at the moment if you died. At Battlefeild 2 this was just possible at the Squad Leaders' position. The Commander , known from BF2 was deleted, too. Which feels like an step back but the Idea of it is that you focus on Teamwork. The Players have to help each other instead.
In Battlefield Bad Company 2 there are only 4 classes instead of seven like in BF2. These four classes are: The Medic, The Engineer, The Assualt-Class and the Recon. The Medic performs the same functions as in BF2. The Engineer has to repair the vehicles of BFBC2. The Assualt Class is the typical "Rambo". The Recon is the only class which has Sniper Rifles. The Singleplayer of BFBC2 is not very special. You don´t need much time to play it. And you can´t save, the game will do it for you. One word for the average Story:The Russian People want to use a Superduper mega Weapon in a war between Russia and the USA. the Bad Company has to stop that.
All in all Battelfield Bad Company is a really really good Multiplayer Game but the Singleplayer part is as Big as a Burger at MacDonals.. ;-).
