BFBC 2

I recently purchased BFBC 2 for PC off Amazon. It wouldn't upload properly so I checked what was wrong. It said it needed a Intel Core Duo 2.0GHz or Intel PentiumD 3.0Gz. Plain and simple I don't have this and I want to know is there anyway of getting it without having to buy a new PC or spend a 100 quid. Thnx Nox

How can you say that? If I understood his problem correct, the only thing which is not good enough is the CPU. It is possible to change the CPU without buying a new computer... Which motherboard do you have?

Tbh, if he has an old computer...
He needs a new Mobo that is compatible with the Processor and has a lane for a newer graphics card... He also will need a case that can fit atleast an 8.5" graphics card... He will also need a Power Supply unit capable of handling the Mobo GPU and CPU...

He never said he wants to play BFBC2 on the highest possible settings, and he said a PentiumD would be enough for the game...

Whoa stop talking things you guys don't know! We don't know what socket his Pentium uses, we don't know the chipset, we don't know the BIOS version.... if the old motherboard has an old BIOS you can forget it to place a new CPU on it!
