Yes! A 30 seconds clip with only one action is not that interesting tbh. >.>
You can be very lucky among noobs and do awesome kills, but making a nice editing is way harder and way more interesting for judging.

Anyways, that's my opinion and I am not going to participate to this "event".

i completely disagree this is like there would be a choice of 5 renders in sotm and one of the siggers would add em to a hudge sig....
i think this clip idea was way better since this is a moviemaking competition and a comptetion for gamers <.<

Viva don't get mad that fast. There is always another solution. Making it " Clip of the month " like Ridley suggested it doesn't automatically mean that there cannot be a competition of movie-making ... keep that in mind.

And like most of the ppl here say [...] more people can participate.

the thing is, its always about the ppl who actually play....not about those who spend the time to make it look good
this clip of the month thing is a good idea but not if u send in clips to one certain person who edits them afterwards if think we could do the same but everyone edits clips so the focus is on the moviemakers!
still ppl could hand in there clips but to more then one person!
