he had like 16ish ping. i was playin alright but really i couldnt do anything against him with blaster and i felt like i was laggin a lot (120 ish ping)

That's 'cause you're Amercian, has nothing to do with the tickrate.

well, that cant be true since ppl who got 16 ping with pingboost are saying that it sucks. but high ping ppl also do.

I was not either. Also the current poll result of 14:15 does not mean "everyone was happy" in my opinion.

nobody ever complained. thats it. some ppl think its better now. but its shitty for at least as much too, so there would be less disadvantages when vash would put it back to def

I could say the same since it is almost 50/50. :o
But also 2 guys voted for a tickrate of 35, which is higher as the default one but also lower as currently, means it is basically 16:15 against the default tickrate we always had. ;-) And no one ever complained because we did not know of this possibility yet.. Thought that was self-evident. =/

A tickrate of 35 is still better than the old one, so these 2 players are rather against the default ping as against the low ping. Actually you can not say it the way you did. Also I did not say they want for the lowst ping possible (tickrate of 50), I just said that they want a better ping at all! :-)

I really have to say that I do not have farther problems with the servers with lowping.

Even if XFire is running, Im in TEamspeak, ICQ is opened and youtube is loading I still have a great Ping, without lags and stuff like that.

I also got 16 ping and I felt like w00t the first time I saw it.
But after playing several minutes on the server I though omg.

Idk if the blaster shoots slower, the accuracy sucks or the damage decreased, but it looks like half of the shots go through the enemy.
And thats not just imagination... you can ask Heaven and many others who think the same.

You guys are overrating it... please talk about it in an _objective_ way instead of your emotional feelings.

It's alot better now and I'm not the only one who says this. Just look at the result of this poll. It looks like 50:50.

P.S.: 5 votes for 35+ tickrate. Just saying. There are more people against default right now.
