In my opinion WoW is better, but that's something everyone has to decide on his own (if he even plays such games).

@Samo:
GW is rather a CORPG, since WoW has PVE and PVP combined and in Guild Wars these are almost 2 different parts of the game. I prefer PVE and PVP together as in WoW but that's a matter of taste.
