People wanted FIFA to stop allowing that crap in stadiums. They denied the request by the reason "It's part of African football."

Yes I've heard the same. But this is actually just a stupid excuse, at first these vuvuzelas exist for 10 years now, I would not say that it is a part of their football. Also it basically comes from the USA.

No way, The South Africa v Mexico game and the South Korea v Greece game were better than this one

South Africa-Mexico was just interesting in the second half. Serbia and Ghana played well the whole match.

Have to say that I didn't watch South Korea-Greece but from what I heard it was just fun to watch when the goals happened. Maybe Argentina was a good match too but I guess no one expected such a entertaining match between Serbia and Ghana.

Not during the world cup I think, since the FIFA president said that they won't ban then under any circumstances.
In most of the UEFA countries, including Germany, the Vuvuzelas are already banned.

Er hatte sich im Vorfeld auch extrem dafür eingesetzt, dass die Vuvuzelas umbedingt mit dabei sind und nicht verboten werden

Die FIFA stellt die Regeln und die Rahmenbedingungen, alles weitere wird vom OK geregelt. Und wenn die vorhaben die Vuzuvelas zu verbieten, dann hat Blatter nichts zu melden. Das OK könnte die Abseitsregel nicht ändern, aber kann gewisse Gegenstände in den Stadien verbieten.

Die Teile gibt es seit 10 Jahren und wurden aus den Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika importiert. Das hat nichts mit südafrikanischer Kultur zu tun.
