Not really deserved looking at the whole world cup. Spain never had more than 1 goal in any match.. Should that be the best team? Plus the ref "helped" on the way to the goal by not giving a freekick+corner for Holland within 20 seconds before the goal. But the ref failed through the whole match anyway.

The referee also gave de Jong yellow instead of red and denied Spain a penalty. So ye, he takes no blame. Also Spain beat Germany, the team that beat England and Argentina, and Holland, the team tha beat Brazil. So ye, even if they only won by 1 they deserve it. There is a saying "A good horse only jumps as high as it has too".
