Umm yes, the cheaper root server would fit better to us. The problem is, the one-time setup costs are ~ 150 Euro. It'd take 6 months to defray these costs. This would be ok I think, but if we get 25 ppl we can keep our old root server.

What are you talking about? The cheaper server I found has a one-time setup of 100 Euros and a monthly fee of 30 Euros.

In my opinion we should try to pay 180€ now (6x30) for 6 months in advance, and in that time the future server admin should collect the money by the clans he's hosting for (at least WDM), and then in 6 months he could send this money to Vash + donations again. Counting the money by the other clans already now would not work, since it can always happen that a clan stops running a server and then we suddenly do not have enough money and are *****. And we also do not have details for who he is going to host and so on.

It amounts to the same thing.

And @ Iron: Yes, this would be the better solution. Let's see how many will do this.

So just because we are on the internet and we "cant" donate anything. Doesn't mean we "wont". Seriously.. It's just stupid. Thinking your own clan members really would lie saying that they can't donate when they actually can. There are some people in the world who would but can't. Don't just assume everyones situation. You have no idea what our parents are like. If we are under 18 we can't do bank transfers and stuff like that. Stop assuming.

Well, it isn't bullshit though, is it? It is a fact which you are somehow unable to believe.
