Call of Duty Black Ops doesn't run

That's the error i get when i try to run the game.
I double click the shortcut or the .exe file directly and all i get is this error.
And whatever i click there (yes, no, cancel) the windows disappears and nothing happens.
I never ran the game before.



Any suggestions?

Uninstall the game and download it via STEAM. If the window appears next time just click no, then everything should work properly.

I know this problem from mw2..
If i got it there, i just klick no. There was no difference for me.
When i did, the game just startetd normally, no poblems.

So i'd suggest to reinstall and try it then like shade said.

That`s what I exactly did before this post, worked fine for some time but then reappears.

I installed the game for about 5 times.
Always with the same result

I try to trick DJ_Shitbird (my PC) now :D

sometimes it may be that some games do not work with every graphic card.
For example ASUS' Gamer OSD. If you have a ASUS graphic card you can try to deinstall Gamer OSD and maybe you can launch the game
