If you got, take photoshop. But for the beginning you can start with gimp too i guess.

If I were you I would start with Photoshop, there are more tutorials and better tools. Also you can ask the GFX Staff for help or improvement, since nearly all of us are using Photoshop aswell.

First one is pretty neat, second looks a bit..empty I cant describe it though. even if it doesnt look bad its just not my style.

@resh upload your images at deviantart or an other filehoster (photobucket), i still cant see imageshack images..

I still cannot se any imageshack images, need to fix that soon..
