inspired- the movie

hi folks,
today im proud to present you my latest work.
but first off: due to lack of motivation and just not being abled to give it the final touch i cancelled the in myMIND 2 project.
after seeing the football montage ridley posted two weeks ago the soundtrack just inspired me and i had to use it
im aware of the fact that the soundtrack is really a hit or miss thingy, which is not only due to the soccer shoutcasting in it.
still i absolutely loved it which is why i asked the maker of the vid to use his song with the shoutcasting he said i could and so i started right away.

i wanted to achieve a pretty calm flow and thats why i took parts of the intro from my old movie and also used almost the same colour correction and due to this, its only a minimovie, as a longer movie with the same flow would get boring.
im actually pretty happy with the result especially with the second part of the intro but also with the whole flow the project has.

Hey Viva, :-)

first of all I have to say that I'm pretty surprised about how fast you've done this movie. Looks like a lot of work and I guess it really was! I enjoyed watching it, from the beginning to the end. It was a well structured minimovie, who became even more and more emotional, I like that flow. I wonder who the fuck gave you a thump down...since I think that that movie is really sick and more than average concerning other repcom montages.

Here some critics I like to add:

positive:
- good length for a minimovie
- good kills
- creative intro and outro
- nice flow
- nice syncro
- nice effects (speed higher and slower again etc.)
- nice editing (not overedited)
- nice music
- good panorame/cropping use
- good transitions
- creative/not boring

negative:
- many kills were already used (I know you said that already but still some more new ones were even cooler :))
- too dark colors in some scenes (especially depot and gunship)
- i didn't like the text at the very end in the "special thanks section" -> the text was to big
- intro was cool, but could be even better
- although the music was nice the speeches of the reporters didn't really suit to the gameplay

Maybe I've forgot some points. To conclude I have to say that it was a really sick minimovie and I can't wait until you're next movie comes out. Maybe a real montage!

Once again THIS is why nobody here can reach Viva when it comes to RepCom Videos. I don't wanna repeat myself in every topic so i'll just point out some major things:

- very good pace
- its NOT boring
- good song selection, although...

- ... you should have removed the commentary in my opinion

I am the only one who doesn't like the movie?

Its way too dark most of the time and i didnt like the comments from the moderator.
And acer already said, the most of the kills were known so i often thaught "wtf i know that"

know what ur talking bout
as i explained: the music is a matter of taste especially for this movie, its not my fault that its that dark at times, its yt.....
and i havent played the game for half a year so thats why the kills are all pretty old
