Re: Football Topic
Tottenham Hotspur 0-0 Manchester United
United brought down to 10 men after Young fullback Rafael was sent off by referee Mike Dean. Mike Dean had a HORRENDOUS game today and was easily the worst referee i've seen in a long time. Nemanja Vidic played world-class in defence to stop Spurs from scoring.

Ferdinand and Vidic were awesome in this match.
Rafael deserved his red card, first one deserved a yellow, just after he talk to the referee to give a yellow card to a Tottenham's player and then the referee give a yellow card and to the red card, it's deserved too...
Berbatov played shit btw

Re: Football Topic
Rafael's first tackle deserved a yellow.. but the second yellow... he didn't even touch the Tottenham player. Also it was hard for Berbatov to play up front on his own, especially against his old club.. he never plays well against them.War wrote:Ferdinand and Vidic were awesome in this match.

Re: Football Topic
He touched him a little bit on the second one (i saw that, i'm maybe wrong), that's why he felt down, he knew with doing that, he will have a second yellow.

Even if he did "touch him".. that does not deserve a yellow card.War wrote:He touched him a little bit on the second one (i saw that, i'm maybe wrong), that's why he felt down, he knew with doing that, he will have a second yellow.

United fans bitching and complaining about a Rafael sending off... Hey, that sounds familiar

Thanks for bringing that up! It proves that the only two times he's been sent off are from wrong refereeing decisionsRidley wrote:United fans bitching and complaining about a Rafael sending off... Hey, that sounds familiar

Re: Football Topic
Today, the player of Tottenham was running, Rafael just touched him to make him fall down, he did not want the ball, it deserved a yellow, that's it.. Anyway, it's 0-0, with Rafael it would have been the same i guess.

No! He would have stopped Arjen Robben!..... I mean, he would have crossed to Rooney for him to score!War wrote:with Rafael it would have been the same i guess.

Real Madrid made a 1-1 in Almeria yesterday. Barça is now at 4 points !

Re: Football Topic
The spanish league is so strange. Real and Barca are always the only two clubs with title ambitions and one loss can decide the entire championchip. Why don't they just found the Real-Barca cup? They play a match and the winner becomes the spanish championWar wrote:Real Madrid made a 1-1 in Almeria yesterday. Barça is now at 4 points !

That's the reason why I don't like La Liga. It's boring as hell. Surprise factor = 0. Just look at England or Germany where there are up to 5 or more clubs fighting for the championship each year. Makes everything a lot more exciting and unpredictable.

Actually even in Italy at the moment there are at least 5-6 clubs who are fighting for the title. Though Inter is coming back!
