Technically that's a lie as they didn't say that themselves. It would be more appropriate if you just warned saying; "Please stay on topic". It's more likely to motivate them to do so rather than putting words in their mouth which you never know - they might not be happy about.

TheC4D is too sharp, try to blur it a bit. Furthermore you should try to blend the render more smoothly. A border and a text are missing also I miss depth and light / shadow effects



The render should be focused in the middle, you blended it in properly (for a beginner) and well the colours seem to match a bit. Again border and text are missing. I do miss light / shadow and depth in this tag aswell.


The render is stretched and well it does not look any good. its not really blended it properly I miss text and border.

All in all good first pieces, I advice you to get Photoshop (ask me via XFire) and keep it up.

So what? As the evry first this is a free to use wallpaper (no copyright), plus the fact I did more on this one than you did on your SOTM entry. Simply stop talking about things you actually have no clue about, such as Digital Arts.

Now now kids, seriously. If the image is free to use then by all means use it - LH's sig is quite similar to the stock however I can quite well see the difference, as far as I am aware that signature was not entered in any SOTM and so the amount of LH's work it contains doesn't really matter. Soldy, the fact is your competitive entry was very similar to the stock you used whether it free to use or not, and that amount is not enough to be classed as your own work in a SOTM entry so yes you should be disqualified from this SOTM however, I don't believe you should be banned from an amount of future entries and placed upon the dreaded 'Wall of Shame'. I am no longer in the GFX Moderation staff so nobody gives a shit anymore but whatever, that's the reality.

I am not complaining about being banned from STOM. It was just a random idea to post it there because its Sci-Fi style. Also the Artwork is not my own but the Signature itself is. Additionally you can see that I added many lightning blabla etc. on that sig. I just dont know why you guys complain about such unimportant stuff.

I did not take this decision on my own, I asked an other artist about his or her opinion regarding this and he fully agreed with me. The effort you have done was not big enough to call it a "selfmade" artwork. Actually someone told me about this artwork, otherwise I would not have detected this one.

But you just cant call it ripped cause the signature itself has noone else done. It would have been ripped if it would be the complete work of another one. Just like I would copy your 300 sig and put it into my profile. I didnt even worked on it , though. But on the "Miranda" sig i was messing around on for about half a hours trying different lightnings inserting some c4d effects & texts.
