Perfect rendering with sony vegas without QUALITY LOSS
Can someone help how to do? Is it possible possible to get a video with the same quality like the original?

render in uncompressed avi and then encode the video with an encoder(h.264)

Re: Perfect rendering with sony vegas without QUALITY LOSS
uncompressed files are really big, don't know the rendering details of SV, Premiere and Final Cut are much cooler.
but for the quality Syndicat is right with uncompressed.

Will still lose quality during encoding. h.264 is not a lossless codec.Syndicat wrote:render in uncompressed avi and then encode the video with an encoder(h.264)
Thats just like putting a music track to FLAC and then making it mp3.

You always lose quality when you encode.

Re: Perfect rendering with sony vegas without QUALITY LOSS
in Premiere there are some settings without loss of quality :p

Re: Perfect rendering with sony vegas without QUALITY LOSS
Exactly this is what i noticed after trying all settings in sv10. All these tutorials in utube weren't a help, too.Vash wrote:You always lose quality when you encode.
The original video will look always better.
One question: Does the project property influence the quality of the vid in sv, too?
I mean not the previev of the vid. i mean after rendering the video.

The program does not matter. You technically lose quality in any type of re-encoding. Sometimes a big loss, sometimes _almost_ no loss.Shape wrote:in Premiere there are some settings without loss of quality :p

Well, that's right, I was thinking about _almost_ no loss. :p
