• A space for your maps and mods

Hey,

as you know we are hosting all our own projects (such as PROMOD and WarPack) on our public FTP server to share them with everyone and enable fullspeed download without any delay.

Now we would also like to share that with you.

Everyone is allowed to send us his maps and/or mods to be hosted on our server. This would create some kind of "map/mod archive" and there are several reasons why it is a good solution for your projects:
• fullspeed download (several MB per second, over 20 times faster than a normal filehoster)
• no waiting time before the download starts
• no advertisment
• entirely free
• clearly arranged interface
• we won't remove files after too many downloads or after a while

This is where your maps and mods would be hosted:

Unclearly arranged, full of useless videos and images, thousands of categories you don't need, slower (average download speed of 70 kb/s which is even slower than Rapidshare, TX server has several thousand kb/s), french (not everyone understands it). Simply worse. :-)

Thata great IRON TX taking initiative again. Sandcrawler had a clean up of their site a while ago and they seem to mainly have all their prefferred mappers listed.
Volos libraray has the most comprehensive mapping list .
So this will be a TX library of all rc maps and mods expanding on volos yes ??
ie larger ?

Quite a lot of stuff has been uploaded already. 650 maps, tons of textures, properties, static meshes and mods/tools.

I discovered you uploaded one of my maps lol, but it's the old and gay version, when I was in GG I edited it and make it look a bit more decent, so is it possible to upload the ''new'' version to change the old one?

Hmmm still cant get this link to work dunno why. any ideas >:
FTP settings are turned on in settings also.
seems to take forever to load and doesnt finish

Thanx PINGU i worked out that the firewall has a habit of blokking it . so just had to temporarily disable firewall .
