Did you blur the right side behind the effect?
i feel it would look better if that side of the image was slightly sharper however looks great.

well the effect sort of blocks the background slightly anyway. But its still really nice your definately getting better.

Talk to me on Xfire i use gimp also takes longer than photoshop and not as good results however you can stil get some reallynice ones.

Honestly looks like a jpg picture with your name put on it but. If not it looks cool.

I made that picture with my cellphone . That's from a movie called Surf's Up . So i pictures it, resized it, made the wather to have that sharp wind or idk how to say it . There's an option in Filters " make wind " or smth like that . Also i putted some glowing dots and that sun shine thing on the left side

The sun shine thing is called Lens Flare . I've just check it on PS for the name of the effect . It's in Filters > Render > Lens Flare
