There will be 2 riddles in order to win you will have to guess the 2 riddles correctly if one answer is wrong u will not receive any points i will confirm the correct answers once someone has guessed both correctly. The winner will get 10 points

Here goes:

Riddle 1:
A man was found murdered on Sunday morning. His Girlfriend immediately called the police. The police questioned the Girlfriend and staff and got these alibis:
The Girlfriend said she was sleeping.
The Chef was cooking breakfast.
The Gardener was picking vegetables.
The Maid was getting the mail.
The Butler was cleaning the closet.
The police made an arrest immediately, Who did they arrest?

Riddle 2:
A man was found dead in his study. He was slumped over his desk and a gun was in his right hand. There was a cassette recorder on his desk. When the police entered the room and pressed the play button on the tape recorder they heard: 'I can't go on. I have nothing to live for anymore.' Then there was the sound of a gunshot being fired. How did the detective immediately know that the man had been murdered and it wasn't a suicide?

They arrested Gardener who was picking veggetables because the Chief can't cook without them u know and maybe he was out to get veggetables AND to kill the guy ? Msg me if it's right but i dont think it will be xD

You said they just pressed the "play" button, but not the "rewind" button, so anyone paused the tape after the man died and put the tape back to the beginning. Probably the murderer.

1. Maid - Royal mail dont deliver on Sundays, bit tough for non Brits :P
2. The cassette had started at the beginning of the man talking so someone else must of been there to re-wind the tape to the point before he would of allegedly shot him self.

Yes been good fun would have liked the riddles to have been harder but finding challenging ones on the net is quite tough.
Would like to arrange a quiz nite or some detective questions like the last riddle but aint sure how i will work it
